Greyhounds at Fox Run Farm in Kentucky

Ch. Another Episode Partylite

Baggie at Fox Run Farm

Baggie was a remarkable girl. She was born on Christmas Day, 1987, and came to live with us during the spring of 1988. Upon seeing her for the first time, my son Hunter said that she looked like the black panther, Bagheera from The Jungle Book.  Thus, immediately and lovingly her name became, Baggie. Her breeders were Anne and Lisa Tater of Dallas, Texas. Baggie's mother was the top show dog, Am. and Eng. Champion Shalfleet Socialite and her father was the amazing Ch. Suntiger Traveler. Baggie became more than a family member.  She had an innate ability to care for others, small children and injured animals alike. Although she went on to a wonderful show career and eventually produced a litter of puppies sired by the Westminster-winning dog, Ch. Sundridge So Be It, enabling her to become the 1993 AKC Top Champion Producer of Greyhounds, it is her loving nature that remains in my memories the most. I best remember her fostering injured fawn and fox cubs....she was so kind hearted. Baggie produced many top winning puppies from her two litters.  Their names are well represented in the pedigrees of today's top winning dogs, including Ch. Southwestern Lord Henry, 2010 Best of Opposite at Westminster Kennel Club Show, who is a great grandson of Baggie.

Ch. Anotherepisode Sunny DaySunny at Fox Run Farm

Sunny was born Feb. 18, 1990.  She finished her championship in 1992.  Her sire was Ch. Alzannas Dallas and her mother was
Ch. Anotherepisode Sunlite, a full sister to Baggie (Ch. Anotherepisode Partylite). This beautiful red and white girl was a joy, and one of the kindest greyhounds that we have ever lived with.

Ch. Anotherepisode Hunting Party

Zoe at Fox Run FarmZoe was born October 16, 1993.  This beautiful blue girl was out of our beloved Baggie ( Ch. Anotherepisode Partylite) and was sired by Ch. Alzannas Dallas.  She started her show career group-placed at only 10 months old.  She was a wonderful addition both to our family and to the greyhound world.
Zoe was bred to
Ch. Southwestern Episode My Man and produced a litter of lovely puppies on July 18, 1998, producing many champions.

Fox Run's Go Big Blue

Fox Run's Go Big BlueBlue was an impressive young dog. He was born on July 18, 1998. His sire was Ch. Southwestern Episode My Man and his dam was Ch. Anotherepisode Hunting Party (Zoe). He started his show career strongly obtaining 14 points including a 5-point major under Jon Cole at the Lexington Kennel Club Show. We unfortunately lost Blue much too early. Blue, you are missed.

Ch. Cebar Always Formal At Foxrun

We are very happy to have a wonderful new Greyhound in our lives. She is a beautiful black girl whelped January 7, 2007.  Her breeders are Dani Edgerton, Eleanor Creech and Lynn Schanzle.  Sophie's dam is Cebar No Secrets JC., and her sire is DC Wenonah Levanto SC. We are very happy that with only limited showing, Sophie has completed her championship with a five point major taken at the Greyhound Club of America's  Eastern Specialty Show on October 6, 2010 as well as a Certificate of Merit.  We wish to thank Cindy Kelly-Magness for showing Sophie for us as well as showing many of our other greyhounds over the years.  Cindy is a wonderful handler and friend.
